Online Rules and Support Near Fallsview
Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara are two buildings on two streets in Niagara Falls. Online play in Ontario has separate rules and this guide carries paid links: this page covers both, plus where to find help.

Ontario's online rules
The market for regulated online casinos in Ontario opened on April 4, 2022. Before taking bets from players in Ontario, a private operator must meet two conditions. First comes registration with the AGCO, Ontario's Alcohol and Gaming Commission. Second, it needs an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. Operators that qualify are listed officially in the directory at igamingontario.ca.
The minimum age is 19, matching the age required at the doors of both Niagara Falls casinos. A player also has to be physically located in Ontario at the moment of placing a bet. What counts is not where a person lives but where they are at that time. OLG.ca is the site run by the government.
Where the guide's money comes from
Three places on the front page carry paid links: a button in the menu, a section past the top, and a section toward the footer. Every one of these links has an Ad tag, and none appear on any other page. Clicks on them all reach the same private online casino, which returns a commission to this guide. The casino is left unnamed because the guide may switch partners.
No link on this page to the two casinos, OLG, iGaming Ontario or the help services is ever paid. The directory at igamingontario.ca can be used to check any online casino site, including the partner. The guide does not take bets and holds no accounts.

- Run together with the Responsible Gambling Council, the PlaySmart Centre sits in the Fallsview Galleria next to Ponte Vecchio. It is open every day from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., and its phone number is 905-371-0774. Casino Niagara offers a smaller PlaySmart area with a direct line to Responsible Gambling Council staff.
- The Virtual PlaySmart Centre answers its line, 1-833-888-2306, daily between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
- My PlayBreak is OLG's self-exclusion program, where a person asks to be kept out: a casino break bars entry to every Ontario casino, both of these included, for 3 months to 5 years. Facial recognition is used at the doors, and a term cannot be cancelled once made.
- iGaming Ontario launched its self-exclusion portal, BetGuard, at betguard.ca on May 14, 2026. One request is enough for anyone 19 or older to be shut out of every site in Ontario that offers regulated online gambling, OLG.ca included. Land-based casinos are not covered.
The Tape desk and its checks
The Tape desk is the collective name the guide is signed under; no page has a personal byline. Facts come from the two casinos' own pages, OLG, iGaming Ontario, ConnexOntario and PlaySmart, checked on October 9, 2026. When a casino does not publish something, like parking rates, the guide calls it unpublished. When the two casinos' pages give different numbers, the number is left out.
The five casino photographs are from Wikimedia Commons: four show the buildings from outside; one shows the Fallsview casino entrance hall, its people removed. Author and licence sit under each, and the Image sources list below records the changes. The three other pictures are generated scenes, not photographs, with no people and neither casino. There are no forms, comments or accounts, and your colour theme stays only in browser storage. Visits are counted cookie-free, yet your IP address and browser details go to a separate statistics service.

Asked about the two
Does a Buffalo resident staying overnight in Niagara Falls count as in Ontario for online bets?
Yes, as long as they are 19 or older and physically in Ontario when the bet is placed. What counts is where the player is when betting, not where the player lives.
Will a BetGuard request also keep a person out of the two casinos?
No, BetGuard applies to Ontario's regulated online gambling sites, including OLG.ca, but not to land-based casinos. A casino break through OLG's My PlayBreak, by contrast, bars entry to every casino in Ontario, these two included.
Who pays for this guide?
